WANTED: Weight Loss Buddies

Did you know that studies show when you recruit three or more people to lose weight with, you're much more likely to succeed? 


In fact, you're not only more likely to succeed, you're also much more likely to keep that weight off that you've diligently worked to lose. Programs that rely on group support are 10 times more successful than doing it alone... so why not recruit a few friends to meet and work on encouraging, motivating, and recording our successes? Meet once a week, weigh in, have challenges and goals and keep each other on track.... keep it simple and short! Of course, you'll need to have other friends who are wanting to lose weight (don't we all have weight to lose?).


With all of these thoughts, I have come to a conclusion to start a group meeting with friends to get together and lose the weight, once and for all! Here is what the group entails:


Slim with Friends 

Weekly Meetings:

      1)      To give support to each other to hit our weight loss and fitness goals
2)      To track and monitor so we are accountable
3)      To keep ourselves motivated, inspired, and encouraged 

What to expect:

1) Weigh in and measure 
2) Have a weekly discussion topic 
3) Have a weekly challenge
4) Have a monthly mission 

So what do we have to lose? We have MUCH more to gain than lose (only thing to lose is weight!!) 

This blog will keep us up to date with our challenges, successes, and missions. I look forward to meeting with our friends and creating success in health and fitness!!
